Best praise vs top criticism for Steelcase Amia
“I had an Embody for several years before I started getting pain. It’s like it lost its cushion and started digging into me. I gave the Aeron a chance but had severe pain with the mesh and hard border around the seat. I currently have a Steelcase Amia and find it to be very comfortable. I picked one up from BTOD since I also use one at the office when not working from home. I have the regular Amia, but there is an Amia Air with a mesh back if preferred.”
“The solution is to buy a used Steelcase Amia locally in the $100-200 range, and, in the fairly rare case that you decide you hate it, resell it again for the same $100-200. They are cheap, plentiful, and there's basically always a market for them at around the same price you paid ($100-200).”
