tldr; Budget Thai brand with decent quality. Good starter gloves, won't last forever.

Best praise vs top criticism for Kombat Pro Boxing
“I can’t speak for pro boxing/the reputation of boxing but my dad owns an amateur boxing club and there’s a huge influx of kids who are coming in because they saw KSI and Jake Paul fights. A few of them have stuck around and become really good boxers. So in that respect I think it’s good for boxing and potentially the future of boxing, as kids are that otherwise would never have gone to a boxing club are trying the sport. It’s just a shame Jake Paul is such a dickhead.”
“I tend to see the ring as a place where the notion of violence as a moral issue is absent. In a boxing fight, you are testing your skills against someone else. These skills involve punching someone else as accurately and powerfully as you can, not out of hate or violence, but out of boxing technique and skills. It has nothing to do with what is morally just or not, it is a performance. Now, is it morally acceptable to practice a sport where the purpose is to injure the other ? I think in a specific set of circumstances it is. I personally belive pro boxing should be forbidden just for how dangerous it is, but amateur boxing is a legitimate endeavour to have as a person. It's not a street fight, it's an art. Some boxers are violent outside the ring, and that only means they are a complete asshole. Turning the other cheek in that situation is a personal choice which can make sense. But inside the ring, those rules don't apply.”
