Best praise vs top criticism for Katabatic Gear Flex 22 Quilt
“I don’t think zenbivy temp ratings are comfort rated so their 10 is probably equivalent to 22 from katabatic Doing that comparison, katabatic is definitely much lighter”
“My 2 cents after having and selling a Katabatic Flex 22 is: 1. I'll never buy another quilt without a sewn footbox. 2. I'll never buy another quilt with horizontal baffles. I sleep on my side and frequently flip back and forth and constantly had issues with down migrating to the edges of the quilt over the course of the night, especially if some humidity / condensation came into play. Switched to a Nunatak Arc (have both 40 & 25) and have never been happier. The vertical baffles mean that even as I twist and turn and the down potentially loses some volume due to humidity in sub-par sleeping conditions it stays on top of me where it's supposed to. Also their ETC is phenomenal and means that I never even use pad straps.”
