“I wondered this myself last year and ordered a Dw4 from Hank with red emitter- BIG mistake as I couldn't see much with the red. As a kid i dreamed about one day having a red light or even some red plastic to put over a torch. I have numerous torches with 519A which work great for hunting nightcrawlers- they really stand out with a warm, quality beam. You really do not need much light at all. I have the grandkids well trained now and I get to be the torch man. The family tradition lives on.......... Amazing how many folks have never done this and think it is very strange. Damn city folks.”
