Best praise vs top criticism for Denon AVR-S760H
“Definitely some welcome and long overdue regulations. As much as I like Aiyima amps for example, I will continue to give them shit for claiming they deliver 300W/channel. They need to stop, and if this forces them, then good. Most of the new requirements seem pretty reasonable. The one thing I might like to see is a 80Hz-20kHz rating. Not just a 20Hz-20kHz rating. I get the idea behind having a 20Hz-20kHz figure available. But a separate 80Hz-20kHz figure would also be quite helpful, especially for budget gear. I'm not expecting something like a Denon S760H to be powering seven speakers full range. So I'd also like to see what I can expect from a more reasonable use case for it.”
“Even at MSRP the S760H is hard to beat value-wise. Will it be cheaper during black friday? Maybe. Will you regret spending $325 on it? Definitely not.”
