tldr; DC motor runs whisper-quiet at 53dB. Non-stick coating outlasts cheaper brands. 9.3" basket fits most meals. Replaced my oven entirely.

Best praise vs top criticism for Cosori TurboBlaze 6.0-Quart Air Fryer
βJust wanted to share my journey finding the ultimate air fryer, given the common pain points like complexity, uneven cooking, and durability issues. After much research, I settled on two standout models: the COSORI TurboBlaze and the Ninja DZ201 Foodi 8 Quart, and here's why they've been absolute game-changers for me. The COSORI TurboBlaze addressed the complexity and usability concern beautifully. It's super intuitive, making it easy to whip up meals without fuss. And for someone who's had their fair share of unevenly cooked meals, the precise temperature control and even cooking technology meant my dishes came out perfectly every time. Plus, its durability is unmatched. No peeling or malfunctioning here, just a sturdy, reliable kitchen companion. Then there's the Ninja DZ201, a marvel when it comes to tackling uneven cooking. The DualZone Technology allows for different foods to cook simultaneously at their own needs, ensuring everything is perfectly done. Its capacity is a dream for larger meals, and cleaning couldn't be simpler, putting to rest any concerns about it being a chore. Having both the COSORI TurboBlaze and the Ninja DZ201 in my kitchen has genuinely transformed my cooking experience. T Whether it's the COSORI's user-friendly design and durability or the Ninja's ingenious DualZone Technology and easy maintenance, they've revitalized my cooking routine. If you're pondering over air fryers, these two deserve a look, but remember, everyone's needs are different. So, check them out; they might just be the perfect fit for your kitchen adventures.β
βThe largest size you can affort and you can make room for on your counter top, is the one you should get. If you can get a 6qt within that, you'll be golden for most things. Now consider what you think you will be cooking, because you can get taller ones or wider ones. The wider ones can have trouble fitting a whole chicken in the height, however, the taller ones can't cook as much at once - or at least it should be shaken more often - because it wil be in layers. There is also the question if you should a basket model or a toaster oven looking thing. Most people are happy with the basket, but they are different in what they can do. And then there is also the question if you think you will need an airfryer with two drawers or compartments, or just the one. No idea what to advice there. I have the Cosori 6qt, it's a wonderous beast, holds a lot and doesn't take up a whole lotta space, and in any case, easy to put away, as I do, because I have zero counter space for it. If you have no idea if you would like an airfryer or what you'd do with it, I'd say go large, at least 4.5qts, go drawer style, go for a brand with a name mentioned in these pages. You can't go wrong. If you ever will want to get rid of it, it is because you never use it, or because you use it constantly and now you know you will want to upgrade it. But don't skimp on a small no-name model, if you can avoid it. You will not have the full experience. A good airfryer can be used to cook real food of all sorts (except soups and curries, ofc) and you should do that.β
