+2 pts“We have always been "Bose people" so we went with the Bose sb ultra with the 700 bass module. We were impressed with the sound for movies, dialogue, music, etc. But we had issues with the sb dropping connection with our TV, having to reset the connection, etc. We were told to updated the firmware and somehow in that process, it went dead on us and Bose is sending a replacement. (Since then we've solved the connection issue in the CEC settings). In the meantime, we bought the new Sonos arc and larger sub (can't remember the model name). We played the same songs and watched the same content as we did on the Bose to compare. Immediately I noticed that it didn't come close to Bose. The intensity of sound and even the volume with Bose was far superior (I'm not an audiophile, I just have a lay person's ear). I'm surprised to read that so many people prefer Sonos for sound. I wonder if they've had the opportunity to do a true comparison. Has anyone else had the opportunity to do a equal comparison?”
