tldr; Simple, effective, overpriced. Great dialogue clarity in a tiny package. For those wanting basic Bose quality without complexity.

Best praise vs top criticism for Bose TV Speaker
“I'm not an audiophile. I've been using a cheap Vizio soundbar with a subwoofer for the last 5 years or so. We've always complained about how bad the dialogue was on it, very hard to hear if there's also music. I ran out to Best Buy and grabbed the Bose TV Speaker for $200 and hooked it up last night. The difference is night and day. All sound is crystal clear and the bass is surprisingly good even without its own subwoofer. There may be people with way more experience and knowledge than me that can tell you something better or why my pick is bad. But from my casual perspective the Bose TV Speaker far exceeded my expectations.”
“Bose TV Speaker is just for better voice clarity but that’s it, it’s not worth £200 imo, not really great for movies. If you have a tight budget I’d go for the JBL bar 2.1, Harman Kardon Mutlibeam 700 or the Bose 600.”
