Best praise vs top criticism for AIRCARE EP9 800
“I have been using an aircare ep9 800 for 6 years now. It holds 3.5gal water and is designed for 2400 sqft. It can output 9gal in 24 hrs on high or 3.5 gal in 60 hours. I busted mine out for our house with hardwood floors at 20% humidity where I want it about 45%. It took 3 days but I now use about a half gal water a day to maintain. Its stupid simple, robust parts and parts are still being made for it. I replace the wick at about $30/per every 60-90 days. I check mine every 2 weeks. Word of Advice for any humidifier, use filtered water but don't let the water sit for long as filtered water doesn't have chlorine to prevent mold growth. I can't speak to shipping but I would imagine you can pick it up on amazon like I did”
