“Do not use running shoes. You need a flat sole. You need vertical, horizontal and lateral support. Ive used converse a lot. A shoe like converse has a flat sole (good) a decent firm heel (good) but poor lateral support (bad) so you might "glide" around a bit in them. Another option is Adidas Spezial, it has flat sole, tough heel and lateral support and overall very good - though I have wide feet and find it to be narrow. You can also go with a powerlifting shoe like Adidas Powerlift 5.”

“I agree all the Adidas sambas/gazelles/spezial and all the other ones that are 100% indistinguishable from each other. Adidas is by far my favorite sneaker company and I love their more bold and stylish designs, but the past couple years it seems that all anyone cares about are all the super basic samba lookalike shoes. Also panda dunks, nothing makes someone seem more like a brainless trend chaser”
