“We bought a Toto C5 last week and my elderly father-in-law isn't impressed. It made the opening of the elongated seat smaller and it's raised at the back, so he's losing space and ability to lean back. The buttons have icons and I'm thinking the 10 different options is too intimidating. I showed him the remote and that he only needs to press the butt, blow and stop icons. I'm going to encourage him to just play around with it, and tell him it was only $100, instead of the real $600, maybe he's afraid of breaking it. He likes the warm seat though. So my advice is to make sure it's a model that doesn't change what they are used to, and they will still have their normal seat comfort and routine if they ignore the bidet part.”
