What Redditors Say
Best praise vs top criticism for KEF LS50 Meta
Best Praise
+11 pts“I got my LS50 Metas for $1k new from BestBuy, I’d hold on for a sale or a used set that doesn’t have the schmutz, or bargain for lower, closer to $250-$300. Just my two cents.”

+3 pts“The Sierra 1 V2 is a better speaker and will last many times longer than the LS50 Metas. The 11th Generation Uni-Q drivers in the KEFs will experience metal fatigue and self-destruct years before the Sierras will simply wear out. This choice is the easiest you'll ever have. Cheers!”

What Redditors Say
Best praise vs top criticism for Sonos Beam (Gen 2)
Best Praise
+6 pts“Sonos Beam would fit, but if you have it recessed at all the side firing speakers are going to bounce off the insides and sound might feel like it's coming from where it shouldn't be. It's about 28" wide so it would only have 2 inches on each side to fire the sound sideway - not sure how good it would sound. But it would be better than the TV speakers alone. and I think it's currently on sale.”

ViewTop Criticism
+10 pts“I started with the Beam 2 + Sub Mini, was very underwhelming & didn't feel near worth the price. I sold the Beam & bought 1 Era 100 to try with the mindset to eventually add the Arc. I was much more impressed by the Era 100 so I bought another one to make a pair. So while I saved & waited for an open box deal on the Arc, I just went with the Era 100's in stereo + the sub mini. Awesome setup although more problems came with 1 Era sometimes dropping, was relatively easy to fix tho so I wasn't too mad. Eventually I ended up grabbing the Arc. It did sound quite good, but it didn't blow me away like the price would suggest. & The connection issues REALLLLLLY started getting worse to the point the system was more of a headache than anything. Having to unplug everything & redo the system piece by piece, & sometimes multiple times cause either the surrounds wouldn't pick up, or the Sub couldn't be found. Absolute fucking headache! If my current self could go back & tell myself all the problems I'd have when I bought it, I would've NEVER touched it to begin with no matter how curious I got (I really only bought Sonos cause of so much hype around them). I'd buy Bose, Samsung, or my current Klipsch Flexus system again over Sonos all day long! Until I read next to nobody has issues, then MAYBE I'd consider Sonos again, but there's definitely better stuff out there for the price.”
