Dreame L10s Ultra vs Dreame L20 Ultra

“Man, I gotta say, robot vacuums have come a long way. Had one without a self-empty dock before, and the difference is night and day. Recently got my hands on the Dreame L10s Ultra. Snagged it for under $900 after some coupon wizardry on Dreametech's site. What a steal from the usual $999! This thing's a beast - it even dries the mop pads. I saw the Roborock S7 Ultra needed an addon for that, and their S8 is way pricier, like over $1500. The L10s Ultra? Perfectly within reach and does everything I need. Plus, it's the only bot I've found that mixes in soap automatically. Super handy. I've seen folks recommend the Shark AI Ultra Voice Control Robot Vacuum and the Shark AV1010AE IQ Robot Vacuum. Great choices for sure, especially for homes with pets or those who need advanced navigation. The AI Ultra Voice Control model has this cool Matrix Clean Navigation, and the AV1010AE's got a self-empty base that's a real time saver. But for me, Dreame's L10s Ultra hits the sweet spot – great price, awesome features. The dock alone is worth the extra dough. So, if you're in the market, give Dreame a look. They might not have the big name like Roborock, but they're packing some serious value.”

“Unfortunately, my own experience is pretty mixed. When compared to my Dreame L20, it doesn't even come close at all. While the cleaning in itself is ok, it is still so buggy and... not going to cut it in 2025 for that pricepoint, I'm afraid. Jobs disappearing, robot going into error, cancelling the job but no mention anywhere. The dock in itself, the water bins are even very tiny (compared to L20). The dock wants to speak the error, but is making so much noise that you can't hear what the dock says... In the end, it was some vague waste bin reservoir overflowing... (Wet) Hair clogging... Leaving a mess everywhere While the waste bin in the robot and dock were empty... The app is horrible and locks up/forgets/forgets things all the time... At best, I'd say this robot is worth not more than 500. In my opinion, it's not worth the money of even an L20 (L20 outshines this by a lot). I'm afraid that iRobot won't be able to survive if you look at the 705 combo max, which is mediocre at best from my testing... Which is a pity, because I ordered a 705 with the intent to support them...”
