DLX Mattress Classic Hybrid vs Helix Midnight

“Damn, I wish I knew the 4Rs before I handed over my card. My cousin was praising his mattress and I figured I would get it too. Nope wasn’t a good idea. You were the main reason for me getting the DLX premier hybrid. I have been lurking and reading your recommendations you make and the DLX stood out. Maybe you can help with this. The DLX transfer motion more than I would like. I have the firm one. What would you recommend I try to lessen the motion transfer? I have it on an ironwood base but replaced the slats with 3/4” plywood wrapped in fabric and with .25” holes drilled for ventilation. Keep helping everyone on this subreddit.😊”

“I ordered a Helix Midnight on Black Friday. Spent the next 90 days trying to make it work but just slept too hot. They did everything they could to help resolve the problem, even sent me one of their 200 dollar cooling mattress toppers for free but it only made a minimal difference. When my 90 days was almost up I contacted them and had my refund filed in under 5 minutes. Got a text from a third party company a couple days later and had the mattress picked up and donated by the end of that week. Helix even let me keep the topper, sheets, pillows and mattress protector for free. Can't say a bad word about my experience, just wanted to give them some recognition. Wish we coulda made it work but I appreciate the effort.”
