Convoy L21B vs Emisar D4K

“Short answer: Yes. Yes they do. Longer answer: Their build quality is amongst the best out there for enthusiast lights. Great anodizing quality and colors. They offer mostly their own line of emitters, most below duv, as well as some popular mass produced emitters (Luminus sft- series). Their built in chargers are the best quality built in chargers available, last I heard. They tend to focus on the 21700 cell size but they keep a fantastic compact design for such a large cell. I believe all of their current generation of lights run the Anduril 2 UI. Some highlights to look at: e04 Surge: my pick for best all around enthusiast light out there, at the upper limit of pocketable but with a massive “floody thrower” output. My pick for neutral CCT emitter for the Lume X1 (boost) driven version would be the 5009r 4000k ($5 extra for the custom pick) and the Lume1 (buck) would be the sft42 6500k. X4 Stellar / X4Q Comet: one of, if not *the* best enthusiast 21700 EDC out there. The Emisar D4K is great too but I think the FFL wins for build quality, the D4K wins for emitter selection. Choose the X4 if you want the charger, the X4Q without. The one I don’t own yet but will soon: the e90 Blaze. Ridiculous searchlight thrower. “I have almost 50 lights. Here's my five favorite at the moment. Convoy T6 w/ SFT25 6500K and forward clicky switch - tiny pocket thrower with great output and reach. Has completely replaced my S6 CSLNM1. Emisar D3AA 519a 5000K DD - great little EDC with tons of output and a very efficient driver Convoy L21B w/ SFT40 6500K and forward clicky switch - ridiculous amount of throw with a lot of output for not a lot of money. Great driver too. Skilhunt H150 w/ 519a 4500K - small, lightweight, dual fuel headlamp. Emisar D4V2 dual channel w/ 219b 2700K/4500K - I just really enjoy having this set this to auto tint ramp. The way the CCT increases with the brightness makes me happy, and 219b makes such nice looking light.”
