“You are making the common beginner mistake of falling in love with a machine, while your first priority should be to choose the best grinder you can afford. While Libra is a good mid-range grinder, an end-game machine like the Micra should be paired with an end game grinder. I would much prefer a Profitec Move (which is much more feature rich than the Micra) with a Mazzer Philos, Zerno Z1/Z2, Lagom P80, Weber EG-1, or Kafatek Flat Max or SDRM to a Micra with a Libra.”

“My rec is don’t do it. I did for the same reason. Got a Breville barista pro. Grinder died and had to get a new grinder. So then I had a huge machine with a separate grinder. I wish I’d have gotten a bambino and grinder separate. Or maybe even a gaggia classic and df54 grinder for the same price the Breville was.”
