Beautyrest Black vs DLX Mattress Classic Hybrid

“You can still buy them. I did and then purchased a topper separtly. I was really having trouble making a decision on what mattress to get until I found it. It was in a relatively small box and it is a king size mattress. It then expands. Like instantly. You want to make sure you have in the right place when you cut the plastic to expand. Only a week is not long enough to know if it will hold up. But at least if it does not having dips we can flip it and get more time out of it.”

“The black series just got relaunched in 2024. Typically, these beds would be redone every 3 years or so. But the mast iteration was bad enough that they went ahead and redid the new ones...and I gotta say, it's 1000000000% better than the last iteration. That being said. Series 1&2 are both solid choices and not 6k. But personally I like the feels of series 3 the best. Real talk, I can't risk my job but if you just wait a few months beautyrest will be launching some new stuff that is in the 3k price range that are absolutely stacked for the price.. they feel SOOO good. They also got some stuff for their 100 yr anniversary but not sure on the price. Retailers are currently looking at the new stuff this week....so should start seeing them cycle in I would say march at the earliest. The company has seen alot of changes. But the recently brought on the guy who made those beds 15/20 years ago back last year and he's been slowly redoing everything to get it back to quality. So you might see some mixed reviews on these products but it definitely depends on the year someone purchased. I may or may not be a long time employee.....”
