Acebeam E75 vs Emisar D4V2

“It was my most looked-forward-to light but once I got it I was underwhelmed. It has a long run time, but it’s heavy and not as bright as I expected. Makes a good “working on cars in the garage” light but that’s only because of the magnet. Almost any other light I own gets picked up before my E75 which is a shame because it’s a well built light, just doesn’t to anything “great”. Ymmv.”

“I say let them learn the lesson. I definitely have. worst time was when my D4V2 somehow shorted out in my pocket, instantly burning me quite badly when I reached it to see why my pocket was getting warm. heat anodized my key clip to blue to brown. as soon as I grabbed it I dropped it, and it melted the foam mat at work. managed to take the battery out with a couple pliers. I still don't know what happened, but it fried the driver.”
