I'd go for a ~$50-75 kettle and $200-250 grinder instead. 1zpresso ZP6 or K-Ultra seems to be the chief recommendation around here, I have a ZP6 and it's excellent, haven't used a K-Ultra so can't speak to it personally”

+20 pts“I actually tried this, but the problem with it is the ring burr, there is no way that I know to remove the ring burr from the aluminum housing that holds it, and that part is where the magnetic interface is. I believe it is pressed in so very difficult to remove it, so I ended up selling the K-ultra. However, I have a 3D printer, so I designed and printed my own catch cup and adapter piece that threads into where the original ZP6 catch cup threaded in, and made them attach with magnets. I also upped the capacity as I regularly do 30g+ brews See pics below for more info”

I’d much rather have a cup from one of my C40’s than the 078 - but to each their own.”
