+21 pts“If you got a yeti or knockoff style that seals, you want to put a layer of ice in night before you load it to cool it off, in the morning there will be a small layer of water and ice, then add more ice and your food. Don't empty the water out unless the water level is just too high where it's getting your stuff wet, the water helps keep it cold. Even if you refill the ice at some point leave maybe 1" of water in the bottom. ”
