Best praise vs top criticism for Yes. PYL Uninc
“I think general consensus is people LOVE the orca for powder, not necessarily as much for other conditions. PYL is probably the more versatile board for a broader range of conditions. PYL is more of a “mid-wide” waist width, whereas Orca is full-on volume shift, so take your boot size into consideration too.”
“I had a 2 board yes quiver, standard uninc and pyl uninc. I also have an 11.5 foot. I didnt like the PYL Uninc as much as I hoped I would. The 161 had this giant nose, and this itty bittle little tapered tail. I wanted to run my front binding with a bit of setback, because thats how it turns the best with the underbite, but in order to get my ideal stance width, I had to put the back binding farther back making the microscopic tail almost non existent, which felt bad. I also think I might have had some overhang on the back boot. Probably spent 10 solid days on it and then sold it. If I was going to try again, I would go for the regular PYL, since I prefer my BSOD of the PYL Uninc. Standard uninc is another story, that board is incredible anywhere on the mountain, as long as youre doing it aggressively.”
