“This. Basically any dashcam with a supercapacitor will be safe for high heat or low temp, because it doesn't use a battery. Supercapacitors just hold enough charge to be useful for a few minutes after powering down, and if you keep it wired to your battery, it just never looses power. I use a wolfbox G900 atm and I love it”
“Congrats! let us know how you like it... I have the 1st gen Omni (X200) and it was pretty decent all things considered. My main complaint would have to be the intermittent horizontal shake in the recorded video due to the slop in the rotating mechanism. My unit may have been faulty dunno but if not, hopefully same isn't present in the Omni X800. If we do purchase I'll likely be waiting a bit since just purchased two Wolfbox G900 Pro's so not really in the market for another dash cam at the moment LOL.”
