Best praise vs top criticism for WaterRower Natural
“1. Make steady state easy, start just with 3x15 minutes or 30 minutes of rowing with good technique but is easy. You want it to be easy so that you associate steady state with being fun/ being relaxing. Sure it might not be as beneficial as doing he 145 for an hour but the important part is you will want to do it. 2. Remind yourself why you’re doing the workouts, when the workout gets hard remind yourself that you won’t be able to get to your goal without finishing it. 3. If you really truly cannot finish a workout at the split do not stop. Finishing the workout even at very low press is key to not developing a quitters mentality. 4. Plateaus are natural and the main thing you want to focus on is just consistently training. Not every session will make you feel great but just doing them id important. 5. Have fun with your training, ideally your mates are with you and you guys can make it fun/ interesting. It’s really important to have people you can do hard training with. Coming from a guy who has raced at a world championship and went 6:10 at age 17”
“that's nuts. I was actually just on a trip, and my hotel had one of these in the fitness room. Felt terrible to row on. the resistance was really weird, and i could not find a setting that felt natural. i thought it must be a cheap piece of shit, crazy that's it's 4+ times more than a c2”
