When you're not at home dash cams are your only options unless your car dos not get hot in the summer. To cover all your sides with dash cams you need two dash cams with 2 channels/cameras each(like the ones for front and back etc). I use a viofo a 139 that has 3 channels. It connects to my phone via a 3rd party app that makes it work as a security camera. It basically records its video to my phone and detects people in it. When someone gets too close to my car I get notified.
