+9 pts“I just dumped the A129 Pro Duo a a while back. Recording in 4K during the day and the damn thing would overheat and shut down. Got it replaced and the replacement unit did so as well. Support told me to stop recording in 4k to avoid overheating. That is ridiculous if it's a feature of the camera. I am not talking the dog days of summer either.......I'm talking mild 85-90 degree days even when not in direct sunlight (my windshield has a tint strip on it which keeps the camera body out of the sun). It's is even mentioned on the FAQ page for the camera..... https://viofo.com/content/36-viofo-a129-pro-duo-dash-cam-support/ I went to thinkware and even though it cost more, I did not have the same issues.”
