I'm not mad about it. Vaxee still use mechanical switches for their main clicks and they are the best I've ever experienced. So crisp, tactile, spamable, and perfectly tensioned. Next to no pre/post travel. They obviously went back for a reason. Optical switches need work in terms of how they feel. The only optical implementation that I've enjoyed so far has been the deathadder V3 hyperspeed. I haven't tried the Viper V3 Pro, but everything else that I've tried seems to suck in comparison. IMO what companies need to focus on now is clicks and shape. Not this lighter and lighter 8K BS.

Every once in a while I try my AX again but somehow it just doesn’t feel right :( The EC2 is my "default" mice, I also can play very decent with the EC3 but the AX feels somewhat off. I don’t know if it is the shape with the smoother/rounder edges or the sensor position. It’s a "I want to love it, but I can’t" situation for me.
