+5 pts“I'd buy this in a heart beat if it was my size, but that's because I absolutely love the upgrades and these are very very practical and thought-out upgrades that obviously make the bike more enjoyable to ride in terms of a longevity and comfort stand-point. In my local market, stock Trek Checkpoint ALR5s are selling for like $1200. No wireless sram axs shifting, no custom laced high quality hubs and wheels. The highlight for me would be those custom laced wheels and Rene Herse tires. Those are an expensive set of wheels! To be honest, I think you'd be better off parting it out if you had the time. The groupset is easily worth $1000, or you can sell just the electronic parts for like $500-$600, excluding cranks, brakes, cassette and sell those separately as well. I'd pay $500+ for the wheels alone.”

So unless you have another source for wheels or another $1,000 or so, I would pick the Roo. Also what are the racing on if it's smooth roads High Pressure and 25's might be right for the frame aero. I ride 23's a roll everyone on the downhills roads are smooth.”
