“As someone who went with the Toto NX1 at *considerably* higher cost, it can be worth it. Fundamentally there’s a limit to how much pump + water heater + water line + air fan + air heater you can fit into something that works as a toilet seat. You can get some decent options, but they just aren’t as good as you can get from a built in. (Still far better than no bidet, though.) Compared to my seat bidet, my all-in-one has higher water pressure, higher water temperature, a more effective dryer, the most effective flush I’ve ever experienced, and it also opens the lid for me when I walk up and flushes a few seconds after I stand up. Oh, and it’s more comfortable to boot. My seat bidet is technically just fine. It does everything I need it to do. It’s just not as good, and I get cleaner faster on the built-in.”
