Best praise vs top criticism for Tissot Le Locle Powermatic 80
“I vote Le Locle because it's the perfect balance between interesting and simple. The texture is really nice and doesn't make the watch come across as "busy". I got that Le Locle as my first watch and I absolutely love it. It's the best option out of the three if you want a traditional style dress watch that will work with any outfit. The Seiko is a more visually interesting watch to me, but doesn't come across as mature as the Tissot. It's less dressy, more interesting, more playful, and less versatile. The Orient looks dressier than the Seiko to me, and retains the same level of visual interest, but loses points because the dial looks a bit busy IMO. Depending on your preferences, it might come across as "trying too hard". It's a neat watch but I prefer simplicity with my dress watches. https://preview.redd.it/y913sbjbjuce1.jpeg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7876b343eb705a2c977b3ad4e072a6c54127bb68”
“Le locle any day for looks. As for the turtle... meh. Ugly rendition of a maritime watch.”
