“Not worth it, tbh. Currently, in 2024, C40 is not a grinder to buy as new. At USD 180, still way too overpriced, for what it is. If you already own and have used the ZP6, you are unlikely to find the quality of life / user experience of the C40 satisfying. Due to the smaller burrs, C40 grinds quite slow (grinding on the finer side is a chore), and does not have external grind adjustment, which is soo convenient. You never see how the grind size is set, which is quite annoying IRL. Also, steps are rather big between settings. And, the grinder diameter is rather large to hold really comfortably. Better get either **Kingrinder K6**, which can be bought at 85 USD/EUR when in sale, or around 100 USD/EUR regular price (the official main store is on Amazon). Or, get the **1Zpresso K-Ultra**, that has the similar UX as ZP6, but also larger conical burrs, similar in geometry to the C40 burrs. For 1Zpresso, the Amazon offical store is also best, and it has sales several times a year with 15% off. And, authentic **Timemore** grinders can be ordered on AliExpress, where the **Timemore S3** (current flagship model) price can get as low as USD 90 or even less, including the taxes, such as european VAT (need to actually use those sale coupons from the main page), and the Black Friday sale starts on Ali right now. Basically all these **new grinders are half the price (or even less)** of the "discounted" C40, and are very nicely built.”
