Both bikes come with knobby tires, great for off road. You could switch them out for tires with a more pavement-friendly tread. Both bikes have all the warts you need to mount whatever you choose”

The Trek dual sport has everything routed through the headset, which is stupid. The bridge club has middling gnot-boost dropouts, also stupid. The All-City Gorilla Monsoon is a great bike. The Surly Midnight Special has similar tire clearance but isn't speced that way.”
