“Hi guys, this is my rant-which is also meant as a PSA. During Black Friday I ordered flooring from Rubber Flooring Inc. I was really happy with their customer service team when I called in my order-which I did to make sure it was delivered correctly for me. They made a lot of really awesome promises, but did not keep any of them. They delivered another customers order to me and shipped mine to him. He and I have both been trying to get our orders corrected since mid December. His order has now sat in my driveway for 3 weeks as they promise daily to arrange pick up. I have no idea where my flooring is as they picked mine up from the other guys house in December and it is somewhere on a truck. We found each other on FB and have joined together to complain to their customer service about our respective orders. My flooring sat in the rain prior to being picked up. The other customer contacted Rubber Flooring Inc to because he was concerned that his order was also getting weather damage. They told him we had assured them his order was safely stored in our garage-it was not. We were out of town when his order was delivered and it has sat outside waiting for pick up-which they promise every day is happening today. They lied to him, not anticipating that we had each other’s names and would track each other down. We are all in the southern United States and it has been sunny, rainy, snowing, hot, and cold here during the past month. We have both spent at least 8 hours each trying to work with Rubber Flooring Inc customer service to get orders corrected with no results. The other customer is a small business owner and this is for his business. We are not in quite the same boat, but equally frustrated. I am also disappointed because I really wanted their flooring. I have now asked them to refund my money, and I won’t use them-which is my loss, because their flooring is good quality. If you decide to order from Rubber Flooring Inc, check their customer review before you do. The poor quality of their customer service seems to be an ongoing issue for them, despite the quality of the product.”
“I already have rolled rubber flooring in half of my basement and my gym has expanded beyond this area. I am going to get flooring to match what I already have but have also contemplated getting a strip of turf that would go the length of the basement (60’) for sled work primarily. I don’t have much experience with turf. Would it be annoying to have a strip of turn in the center of the gym? Will I need to glue it down to be able to use a sled. I can’t find any rolls of turf that are 4’ wide so I either have to but wider rolls and have a bunch of waste or have a bunch of seams. Any thoughts or advice from those who have turf or have thought about it would be appreciated. Thanks.”
