Best praise vs top criticism for Rogue RML-690 Power Rack
“Yeah, i saw this too. He's not wrong about a lot of these points. My 'flow' with the RML-690 + Adonis was better. Let setup/teardown times, no frictions with having to move things around or things getting in the way. But in the end to me, the aesthetics/cleanliness of having it all in one unit + not feeling cramped in my workout area with all the equipment won out. As an example - I squat inside the rack, on j cups, and bench inside too, on monolifts. And i like to just leave those in. With the RML-690, i had the j cups on the front uprights and the monolifts on the middle, but now, they are both on the middle because of the trolleys. well, putting them in the middle now means that when i go to do lat pulldowns. it's annoying to have to move the strap safeties to get the multi use roller in. The shrouds make using magpins/detent pins hard. But then every time i walk into my gym room, i stare at the rack for like 5 mins - it just looks so amazing. Lol. So we'll see. it's still a bit of the honeymoon period for now.”
“Does anyone else have these large gashes along the uprights on their rogue racks? I emailed customer support and initially they said they would replace them, but the next day they stated that they were "considered normal and within spec." For as much as I paid for this equipment I'm really disappointed with the quality level. https://preview.redd.it/vnhex0wvknec1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3f21e7c3fe1d91b54c3a30796497991a51cfcf1c”
