+143 pts“here's the timeline: \- bought ADI-2 DAC FS last wednesday. worked great until... \- during normal operation on saturday night, it cut off while i was listening to music. no warnings or strange behavior beforehand \- contacted my local dealer. he had no more of this model on hand, so i have to RMA \- my dealer contacts RME USA to start the RMA process and this is the response. Dude denied the claim off rip. at no point did i use any other PSU other than the one that came in the box (because i don't have one, and also why would i?). same with the USB cable. and at no point was it plugged into the wall directly, because i have a massive UPS and i care about my equipment. obviously, i'm pissed at this response. it feels... unscrupulous. shouldn't they at least see what's wrong with it before telling me to fuck off?”
