Best praise vs top criticism for Retrospec Weekender
โGotta love a company that has zero real pictures of their products on their website. Their header image looks like a stock photo of someone on a hard touring board and their product-use photos all look AI generated/poorly photoshopped. Glad you didn't get scammed, OP. For $30 less, you can get the [Retrospec Weekender](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/retrospec-weekender-106-isup-review/) - a company with an actual paddler at the lead of their product development team (and with real photos).โ
โA lot of redditors also haven't ever used anything else or use their board for more than putting 50 feet off shore for 10 minutes at a time. For your size, weight, and use, you'll want something on the larger size with decent rigidity. Otherwise it's going to be unstable (especially for yoga) and very soft (which makes it even more unstable). You also won't get much of a warranty (or if there is even any actually customer service to work with). Retrospec makes decent products at a good price point, just avoid their $200 Weekender model (it suffers the same problems as the ones from Amazon).โ
