Yes, the sole is falling off but the rest of the leather looks pretty good. No tears or anything. I have a pair of redwing merchants for over 10 years now. At around the 8 year mark I did end up getting them resoled for about 150.”

I'm on my second pair of RedWings and they just don't really work for me. Lots of heel lift in the Merchants, and some minor heel lift on a pair of chukkas. I've tried multiple insoles, heel pads, etc. It just shouldn't be this hard.”
