Best praise vs top criticism for Osprey Talon 22
“Let me speak for Osprey. They have a fully guaranteed and unconditional lifetime warranty- no proof of purchase needed. You can literally buy one Osprey backpack, and never have to pay for another again. Also, they’re still pretty damn durable. I’ve had my day hiking backpack for 7 years and it is holding up fine. In terms of material, some people prefer having lighter weight material over “rugged” material. Also, is the more expensive material and backpack worth it for someone that may only use it “X” days a year (as in, not a EDC bag)? To each their own. My EDC is a Timbuk2 that I bought on sale for $35 over 5 years ago, it’s definitely not the best or nicest bag, but it seems like a good value buy to me!”
“I tried the osprey talon 22 and found it so small that I had to return it … I ended up buying the deuter trans alpine 30 which is very close but bigger :)”
