+6 pts“Same quality and materials and manufacture probably not. Similar vibe, yes. Mystery Ranch also has an extreme commitment to longevity and sustainable manufacturing of products. So, you’re not just buying the pack but also buying how it’s made, where it’s made, and how long you will have it. (Basically indefinitely with MR). I’m not a shill for them, lol. I only have their packable day pack which is awesome, but I’m no irrational “fanboy”. But they are very well respected in the space. There’s tons of info on their website. Patagonia is something similar. In fact in this space, they are actually better priced than many. Lots of US made products too. I would say if budget is number one, definitely don’t feel bad passing on these. But I think it’s going to be hard to find cheaper bags with the same quality, practices, and longevity/repair-ability at the end of the day. You could even look at second hand MR as well. eBay, etc. Not a soapbox moment at all, I promise. Just giving some color to the input. I think if you want that quality for better price, def look at the second hand market on MR.”
