Best praise vs top criticism for Lodge Cast Iron Skillet
“A classic two burner stove and a 5 lb propane tank. I like the camp chef models but Coleman is tried and true as well. Get a good cast iron skillet and a pot for hot water. Makes a very versatile cook system”
“I really think you'll better off with a cast iron pan coooking on a bed of coals. You won't control the fire as well as you hope/ think you will. Coals will give consistent heat and the pan will help hold heat as well. Also both your links showed items 80 bucks plus. Much much cheaper options available. Stay away from painted/ treated metal. Take the rack out of your oven or grill, or just get a grill rack.”
