Best praise vs top criticism for Lelit Victoria
“The Profitec Go and Rancilio Silvia needs 5-15mins. It varies and not a standard time for all. The Lelit Anna, I am not familiar. BUT these machines are entry level espresso machines specifically for home use that uses a small boiler which warms up slower as its heating element so its fairly normal for its price range. Thats why Profitec, Lelit, and Rancilio also has mid range, professional range, and commercial range espresso machines because as the price goes up, its built material and inner technology becomes better. Like the boiler gets bigger, the temperature becomes more stable due to advanced sensors, warm up gets faster, and the parts and tubes last longer and are made with better metal. Its the same reason why La Marzocco and Victoria Arduino doesnt sell entry level prices. Their machines for home-use are built like a mini commercial espresso machine for the cafe because it doesnt have cheap parts. Thats why thermoblock boiler exists, its affordable, its entry level and those are okay! But there isnt much variable to control (which some people in the industry frowns upon). It is consistent though. Thats a good thing. FYI, most capsule machines are also made with thermoblock like Nespresso's. If you value an espresso machine that has a quick warm up phase that is okay. That is your choice.”
