Best praise vs top criticism for Leatherman Wingman
“I recommend picking up a cheap used one on Facebook Market, and just removing the blade. I got a Wingman for $20 like four or five years back, swapped the blade with a washer of similar thickness, and haven't had a problem with the TSA after their initial short-circuit reaction and realizing that it doesn't have a blade.”
“I haven't handled it, but I suspect once the honeymoon period wears off, everyone will again decide the Spirit is the better tool... again. I have owned a dozen + Leatherman Products and only 2 haven't broken. The old Micra and the first Gen wave. (And the very first Leatherman, but the pliers a damn near unusable without having gloves because the liners cut into your hand.) I've broken multiple Juices, Crunches, Wingman and PS whatever. No more. I've never broken a Victorinox.”
