+2 pts“I have the kitchenaid lift stand mixer and it is a workhorse and has a very heavy duty dough hook. It is fabulous for mixing bread dough and for large batch baking. The con is that it is tall, it may not fit on the counter if there is an overhead cabinet directly above it. I do have a regular kitchenaid tilt-back model that I keep on the counter because it fits under my overhead cabinets and it's great for most of my baking needs, but when I do bread or large batch baking, I use the lift stand mixer. Another difference between the two types of kitchenaid mixers is that the attachments (dough hook, paddles, and whisk) on the tilt-back mixer are smaller in size than the attachments that come with the lift stand mixer.”
