Best praise vs top criticism for Keychron M6
“Yeah I have a master as well. Obviously it’s built better, but the M6 has a gaming sensor and is meant to game with. Can’t use the Mx Master for games.”
“Quick summary of each: Keychron M6 (7/10) - Good idea, bad execution. Good sensors and features, but slippery shell makes it hard to grip, it needs a grip tape. Keychron's software holds it back, its a fatal flaw for a product that aims to be a productivity mouse and challenge Logitech Master MX 3. The software just doesn't help, there's no way to creating profiles for each app, limited options for macro and overall lack of customization. Why not 10/10: - Needs less slippery coating. - Needs a drastically better software. - Overall shape is not for everyone. Razer Basilisk v3 Pro (9.5/10) - My main, by far the most used mice in the collection. Best scroll wheel ever, even better than Logitech Hyperscroll, productivity king, because of the Hypershift button, scroll and horizontal scroll I have tons of macro assigned to its on-board memory. I can quickly switch between desktop and laptop (it has bluetooth) and keep the same macros even without Razer Synapse (after creating the profiles and uploading to on-board memory I've uninstalled Synapse). Its heavy for incredibly comfortable, so I don't mind the weight and still use it for most games. Its the only mouse in my collection that if it breaks, I'll just buy another one. I use it in combination with Razer Pro Dock so I don't have to worry about battery life. Why not 10/10: - Needs a diet, roughly 100+gr.”
