I sold the rocket for one of the best bean-to-cups there is (Jura E8) - she loved it but I deeply, deeply missed the espresso making. So I sold the E8, got her a Dolce Gusto for €50 and got myself a LMLM. Everybody wins (except the bankaccount). She’s happy with the crappy coffee with the push of a button. Some mornings I make her a latte and she did admit those are better, but not so much better that she wants to learn to do it herself. Which is fine :)”
