Bought a 500watt Jackery some time ago, it’s been good for the times I needed it. However, it’s only 500 watts. It’ll keep a cpap going, a small travel fridge, tablet recharge, small stuff like that. What I need for our house is something that will power the well pump and the sumps, and a fridge. You might want to check out Will Prowse and others on YouTube to get good info on solar battery systems.

OP, TheSensiblePrepper is wanting you do some more research, because these units are rabbit holes of info. The more you begin to know, the more you quickly realize how much you don’t know. You’ll quickly learn that a 500wh unit like that Jackery will keep cell phones charges, work great for a couple LED lights, and run a small fan for a few hours, but that will be it. You certainly don’t want to look at one for heating. If you get a larger unit you can use an electric blanket, but a space heater is going to only last about 15 minutes on that Jackery. Dollar for Dollar, that AC180 Bluetti that’s for sale right now is a really good deal, and a little over twice as much power. Once you start getting into Kwh, we can start talking about running fridges and larger fans, so the power still runs out quick. Check some YouTube videos out, do some more reading, and then you’ll have a better idea on what you can make happen within your budget. Good luck!
