+7 pts“I’ve never paddled on that specific board but I have had the chance to use several inflatables at this point. They are not all equal. I am about your weight and paid close attention to the max weight capacity of boards when I was shopping. A quick google search shows the weight limit of that board is 264 pounds, so that may be the reason you are feeling more flex on the board. If I were you, I’d return it and shop around for a different inflatable. I ended up with the Isle Switch and love it.”

+1 pts“Since primary use is Solo with occasionally a small child or small dog, then don't get the Switch. It's way too big for you to paddle effectively. I'd recommend the [Glide O2 Retro](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/glide-o2-retro-106-isup-review/). It's 10'6 x 33.5" and very stable. It's got plenty of room, and a full-length deck pad, for when you bring the kid or dog, and it even comes with an inflatable seat which is great to give the kid a "space" to hang out on, or converting to a sit on top kayak (you'll want to pick up a second paddle blade from Glide for that). For a more optimum mix of tracking and maneuverability, I recommend using just the single center fin instead of all three fins. The blue color option is a more muted/neutral than the bright yellow color in my review. I also highly recommend an [electric pump](https://www.inflatableboarder.com/electric-sup-pump/). The single-chamber hand pump that comes with the Retro is OK, but hand pumping a board takes a lot of time and energy (that can be used getting other things ready while an electric pump does the job.”
