+3 pts“For laptop ram speed should not matter. The GPU is the selling point here and I tell you why HP Omen Max Pros: 1. Omen Max has 5080 which has higher wattage, Vram and better performance 2. Also has better GPU for AI and video editing 3. It probably has a better processor but you didn't list that 4. Probably cheaper then the Alienware Cons of Max: 1. Lower ram speed then the aurora 16 but its at 5600mhz and that is plenty 2. Build quality is probably not as good as Dell but I feel they are the same 3. Heat aggregation is better with Aurora then Max but I feel they are also the same Alienware: Pros: 1. Better ram speeds which goes up to 6400mhz 2. Better cooling. Cons: 1. Lower Vram and wattage on GPU: 5070TI (120W compare to 150-175W on 5080) 2. Will do video editing just fine but more Vram will give you better performance 3. Most likely more expensive or same price as that 5080. Overall HP Omen tends to top the alienware due to price to performance and that 5080.”
