+8 pts“Buy it! No clue why the other commenter says otherwise. Thats $1400 new. Hala Atcha owner here, I get out 3 weekends a month until there's snow. That bubbling near the fin box is normal. For $400, if there aren't any punctures and it otherwise holds air at 18 psi I'd buy that myself as a back up. Does it come with the stomp box? If not, thats another $150. Get the orange side bites and qr leash from the Hala website. Consider a qr belt from Sawyer. Go get some gnar!”

+1 pts“Second for Hydrus. The Axis 98 is wonderful. The bad fish river shred and hala at ha are both rocketed to hell and back and are difficult to hold a line with smaller fins. The Axis has enough rocker to clear Class III waves, holes and drops, but still holds a line easily with shorter fins. Plus they have a lifetime warranty and fantastic build quality.”
