+3 pts“100% the Escape 2, it's quite a lot better bike because much better components fitted, like good hydraulic brakes instead of cheapo mechanical brakes, and the Escape 3 drivetrain parts are a lot cheaper (like you would also see on department store bikes). The Escape 3 might be 'new' but if it's not from a bike shop you're not getting any warranty or other new bike benefits. The Escape 2 doesn't exactly look worn out either and the better quality parts on it should save you money in the long run”
