My partner and primarily use an EE Accomplice on all of our thru hikes. Separate foam pads works fine, but separate inflatables always results in me falling into the crack. It works but a two person pad like the Exped Duo is nicer. It’s a few ounces heavier than two neo airs, but not by much. I find it to be much warmer than individual quilts or bags. I’m 5’9”, she’s 5’2”. She has a bit too much space in the feet but overall it’s fine. She’s a flat out blanket bandit but I just clip my side in and voila, unstealable. She can be all cocooned up and pressed against me for warmth and I can stick a whole leg and arm or even more out and be just fine. I can see how it’s not for everyone but it’s definitely our preference.

I was having a similar dilemma recently. I too have a BA Rapide Floor pad and wanted a bag or quilt for my partner and I. The primary deciding factor for me was the width of the footbox. The EE Accomplice has a footbox width of 34.75", which in my opinion is pretty narrow, especially given that you have a pad that has an extra 6" of width around the foot end that you wouldn't be able to use. I ended up getting the Thermarest Vela 20F, which uses 650 fill and hydrophobic down (both are plusses in my opinion) and weighs 1270 g. The Vela is wide enough at the footbox to go entirely over the bottom of the Rapide Floor pad, which is nice because then it acts more like a traditional bed
